Students diagnosed with Autism or Asperger Syndrome have complex profiles and needs. This inservice is designed to provide iedas, strategies, models and interventioins that will lay the groundwork for integrated, comprehensive, proactive services. Ms. Handrich will provide participants with a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of this group of students in tandem with the necessary social skills training. Through actual case study reference, she will emphasize educational supports, behavioral considerations and vocational and post high school opportunities.
