Connecting Resources in Education for Students with Special Needs

Ms. Handrich will discuss ways that teams comprised of special and general education teachers, parents, administrators, support staff and community resources can work together to meet student needs proactively and preventively. Issues that will be addressed include teacher and classroom match, instructional aide support, behavioral issues and instruction decisions. Tips for establishing, building and maintaining good parent-teacher relationships will also be shared.
